THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is collected for a specific, explicit and legitimate purpose. Data is collected in the register electronically and with the consent of clients and stakeholders. Consent has been collected from customers and stakeholders on a separate form, which includes their truthful and genuine consent. The data is collected for customer relationship management and marketing purposes.

The client has been informed about profiling, personalised marketing and it has been made clear to the client that they can withdraw this consent at any time, in which case the profiling will stop immediately. Personal data is collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and under no circumstances will it be used, modified or transferred in any way other than as set out in this Privacy Policy.Personal data is only collected in a pre-agreed manner that has been made clear to clients and stakeholders prior to collection, and consent has been obtained from them for the collection and processing of the data.

REGISTER CONTENTS

The register contains the personal data of Parcero Marketing Partners Oy’s clients and stakeholders, which are or may include their first name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, indicator data related to profiling and the use of goods, such as the data collected by the cookies used on the website, as well as information provided to Parcero Marketing Partners Oy by the clients and stakeholders themselves.

REGULAR DISCLOSURES OF DATA

Parcero Marketing Partners Oy has decided not to disclose the data held to third parties or automatically to other partners of Parcero Marketing Partners Oy. Parcero Marketing Partners Oy will, in individual cases, disclose client or stakeholder information to a designated party for Parcero Marketing Partners Oy’s marketing activities, or if such party requests Parcero Marketing Partners Oy to do so, or if, by law, a competent authority requires Parcero Marketing Partners Oy to disclose individually identified information from a database held by Parcero Marketing Partners Oy.

TRANSFERRING DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY (OUTSIDE THE EEA) OR TO AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION

Parcero Marketing Partners Oy has decided not to automatically transfer data held by Parcero Marketing Partners Oy to third countries or international organisations.Parcero Marketing Partners Oy will transfer data to third countries or international organisations in individual cases if the client or stakeholder has given Parcero Marketing Partners Oy a mandate to do so and Parcero Marketing Partners Oy, together with the Data Protection Officer and the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman, has carried out a risk-based and quality system assessment of the actual level of data security in the third country.

REGISTER PROTECTION PRINCIPLES

Parcero Marketing Partners Oy protects the personal data mentioned in this Privacy Policy based on the outcome of a risk assessment of the required level of security. The Data Protection Officer will participate in the risk assessment process and provide an objective opinion on the final decision on data protection, which Parcero Marketing Partners Oy will adhere to. Parcero Marketing Partners Oy takes into account the technical security as well as administrative and IT requirements in the protection of personal data.

RIGHT OF INSPECTION

The data subject has the right to be informed of the data relating to them that are recorded in the register and, upon a sufficiently precise and individualised request for inspection, the right to be informed of the data relating to them and contained in the records. The request for inspection must be made in writing, signed, and addressed to: Ajurinkatu 2, 2nd floor 20100 Turku.

THE RIGHT TO REQUEST THE CORRECTION AND DELETION OF INFORMATION

The data controller must correct any inaccurate information in the personal data register pointed out by the person concerned.The data controller is also obliged to check the accuracy and timeliness of the information in the register through its own activities. The data subject may also request the data controller to delete data concerning the data subject from the register. The data protection officer will be in charge of processing this operation.

OTHER RIGHTS RELATING TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The data subject has the right to request the restriction of the processing of personal data. The data subject also has the right to receive personal data concerning them which they have provided to the data controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to transmit such data to another data controller. In addition, the data subject has the right to object to data processing, automated decision-making and profiling.

DELETION AND RETENTION OF DATA

Parcero Marketing Partners Oy will delete customer data from the register when there is no longer a business reason to process the data or if the data subject legally requests Parcero Marketing Partners Oy to delete the data concerning the data subject. Data is destroyed by overwriting when there is no longer any justification for processing or storing it. However, the data will not be deleted if the law provides otherwise, or if a competent authority has initiated proceedings requiring Parcero Marketing Partners Oy to retain the data, or if another party has applied to the Finnish courts for a data protection order.

PRIVACY POLICY APPROVAL

The Privacy Policy has been approved on an ongoing basis and reviewed on 21.9.2020.
